The galley planner for nights aboard

Feed the crew.
Find it in the locker.

Galley Count plans the food for a weekend or a week on the boat: fresh meals first while the ice holds, shelf-stable meals after, one shopping list by aisle, the water and the stove fuel, and a stow map so nobody has to ask where the coffee went.

Free for trips up to 3 days. Galley Pass $1.95/month or $19.50/year, or a $1.00 Trip Pass for 7 days · Free during preview.

Worked out live by the planner for four people, Friday dinner to Sunday lunch, Saturday dinner ashore, a cooler that holds 2 days.

Three stations, one card

  1. 01

    The trip

Days aboard, how many people, the first and last meal, and the meals you will eat ashore.

  2. 02

    The galley

No stove, one burner or two, the fuel you carry, the cooler or fridge, and how long your ice really lasts.

  3. 03

    The lockers

Everything you buy, assigned to a cooler or a locker. With a Galley Book you name your own lockers and move things.

Why the order matters

Eat the fresh food while the ice holds.

A cooler is only safe at 40 °F or colder. Galley Count counts the days from loading and from every ice stop you tick, puts the eggs, deli meat and berries on those days, and moves the chili, curry pouches and peanut butter to the days after. You set how long your ice lasts: nobody knows your cooler and your weather better than you.

The numbers people forget

12.5 gal

Water for the sample trip

One gallon a person a day, doubled in very hot weather, plus cooking water. That is 5 jugs of 2.5 gallons.

26%

Of one 16.4 oz propane cylinder

Burner-minutes for every hot meal times the burner's Btu rating, over the energy in the fuel.

20

Things on one list

Across 6 aisles, rounded up to whole packs: a dozen eggs, a 1 lb box, an 8 oz bag.

A place for everything, written down

The stow map sorts the list into the cooler, the dry locker and the galley locker, and flags the cans and jars to chill once opened. Print it, tape it inside a locker door, and the crew stops asking.
